Beatriz is a Ph.D student in the Biomedical Engineering, in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Physics in Medicine from the University of Notre Dame in May 2024. She joined Dr. Arvanitis’ Lab in August 2024, and her research focuses on investigating how ultrasound-induced mechanical forces affect cancer cell lines, aiming to understand pathways involved in cellular stress and inform the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
