Chi Chi is a Ph.D. student in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in bioengineering and applied mathematics. He joined Dr. Arvanitis’ lab in August 2024 and his current research involves using focused ultrasound as a therapy, looking at how to improve immune cell trafficking in brain tumors. His broader research interests include the role of mechanical stimulus from focused ultrasound on biological processes as well as cell therapy for solid tumors.
